Apple covered its pricing bases with the launch of the iPhone 6 and
iPhone 6 Plus, but the big question is whether the larger 5.5-inch
version of the device will inflict damage on the Samsung Galaxy Note
franchise.
Marketing chief Phil Schiller outlined the iPhone 6 Plus pricing and the
entry price is $299 with two-year contract. The iPhone 6 will start at
$199 with two-year contract. The iPhone 5s moves to $99 and the 5c is
free.

The Galaxy Note and iPhone 6 Plus will roughly have the same screen sizes and features. Samsung has a stylus and some innovative writing features. However, Apple has enough going with the iPhone 6 Plus to dictate pricing to Samsung.
